Aussie Hotels is an independent guide to places to stay in Australia, built on distances, parking and facilities instead of adjectives.
Most hotel sites tell you a place is close to the CBD. We tell you it's about a 10-minute walk, whether parking is listed and if it's free, and what kind of stay it really is: hotel, motel, serviced apartment, holiday home or holiday park.
We've mapped 28,082 places to stay in Australia with at least 10 guest reviews, from city towers to highway motels and holiday parks, so you can pick the right one for your trip rather than the one with the biggest ad budget.
What we stand for
- Numbers over adjectives. Minutes, kilometres and guest ratings, rounded honestly.
- Every kind of stay. Motels and holiday parks get the same treatment as five-star hotels.
- Beyond the capitals. A third of Australia's hotel-style stays are outside the 10 big cities, and so are we.
- Good for, and not for. Every stay and every list says who it suits and who it doesn't.
